A fine example of eighteenth-century civil construction with a façade divided by pilasters with ornaments separating the openings: on the ground floor there is a central arched doorway with floral decorations and two shops, on the noble floors balconies richly decorated with Baroque railings. The palace belongs to the post-Spanish siege production, but in a particularly refined version.
According to Ryolo, however, the current building is no longer the original one because, after the Gemelli family purchased it, the palace (declared a national monument in 1906) was demolished and rebuilt under the direction of the Monuments Superintendency in order to preserve the design of the façade.
